My TOP 10 most important things to remember, when you train calisthenics

1. Quality over Quantity!

Make sure your form in all the exercises you do are good, before you start thinking about how many reps you do. Many injuries can be avoided by doing this. Remember: 1 pull up with propper form, is better than 10 with improper form.

2. Freedom

Use your freedom to do whatever you want every now and then, even if that means doing something unexpected on a planned training day.

3. Basics

Build a strong foundation by practicing the basics and keep maintaining the basics even when you are becoming advanced

4. Joy

Make sure your workouts are enjoyable at least 7-8 out of 10 times

5. Goals

Make sure that you have a goal that motivates you

6. Health

Make sure you train the healthiest way, not the unhealthy way, where you progress too fast, don’t use proper form, never rest, etc.

7. Lust, not duty

Don’t train because you feel like you need/have to do it, but because you want to do it!

8. Balance

Make sure you have a good balance between your training and the other parts of your life

9. Warm Up

Never skip a warm up! It can be the difference between getting an injury or not getting an injury

10. Stretch

Remember to stretch out! Flexibility is just as important as being strong
